Student Recreational Sports Center (SRSC)

The Student Recreational Sports Center is a popular venue amongst IU students as a place to stay active with sports and fitness activities. The SRSC was built in 1995 and completely student-funded at a cost of $22.5 million, except for the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center (CBAC), which was partially funded by the IU Athletic Department.

This facility houses the following:

  • Multiple strength & cardio areas
  • Group exercise studios
  • Seven racquetball/wallyball courts, two squash courts, table tennis and badminton
  • Five basketball/volleyball courts
  • Multipurpose gyms
  • The Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center (CBAC) Olympic-sized pool/diving well
  • Indoor walking/jogging/running track
  • Futsal Court
  • Equipment Checkout (free with Crimson Card)
  • Locker facilities, complete with showers and private changing stalls
  • Wellness Studio featuring RelaxSpace, HydroMassage, and Cryolounge (free with Crimson Card)
