Join us in celebrating all that your body can do during Celebrate EveryBODY Week. This week is dedicated to healthy body image and focusing on the beauty, strength, and grace each and every one of our bodies has.

Celebrate EveryBODY Week events

  • Cold Plunge
    4–5 p.m. | SRSC Lobby
    Connect with IU Outdoor Adventures and IU Athletic Training faculty to learn about the mental and physical benefits of plunging into a cold body of water while getting the opportunity to try yourself.
  • Movie Night: Wildwater
    5:30–7 p.m. | SRSC Auditorium
    Witness the power of collective cold plunging in the 2024 film Wildwater.

  • Shattering Norms: Redefining Body Standards Together
    4–6 p.m. | SRSC Lobby
    Join the Student Wellness Peer Health and Wellness Educators and Counseling and Psychological Services to celebrate the beauty of all shapes, sizes, and identities. Take the opportunity to learn more about our on-campus mental health and stress management resources. 
  • Glow Flow Yoga
    6:30–7:30 p.m. | Bill Garrett Fieldhouse – SPH 171
    Move and shine in this vibrant vinyasa flow. From one posture to the next, participants will learn how to incorporate breath with their movements to find peace and balance within each pose allowing yourself to find your inner glow!
  • Bouquet Bar

    Not all bars have booze—create your own bouquet of flowers after your work out or between classes!
  • Beginner Hustle Lesson
    8:15–9:15 p.m. | Bill Garrett Fieldhouse – SPH 171
    Come boogie with Ballroom Dance at IU and move your body to some funky beats! No experience or partner required.
  • Floating Guided Relaxation
    10–10:30 p.m. | SRSC Pool
    Come to the CBAC diving well to float through a guided meditation designed to relax the body and mind.

    7:30–9:30 a.m. | IU Tennis Center
    Come play tennis and use the fitness area for $5 during Open Rec!
  • Cardio Tennis
    8–8:45 a.m. | IU Tennis Center
    Expand current tennis experience with this cardio based workout. Registration is required with up to 12 people max. $5 per student. Register now.
  • Martial Arts Self-Defense Workshop
    5–7 p.m. | Bill Garrett Fieldhouse – SPH 169
    The IU Martial Arts Clubs and the Martial Arts Committee will teach practical techniques and strategies to enhance your personal safety in real-world situations. Suitable for all experience levels.
  • Rock What You Got

    Did someone say dance party? Come ready to sweat as you dance the night away with a cardio workout based around your favorite songs and moves!
  • Late Nite Gets Active

    This upbeat cardio session utilizes the step bench with simple and fun movements choreographed to the music that everybody is sure to love!

    Build your confidence in fitness spaces by learning where to find and how to use the strength equipment we have to offer like TRX, kettlebells, and free weights. Free, but registration is required. Register now.

  • Food for Thought: Nourishing the Mind and Body
    4:30–5:15 p.m. | SRSC Training Room
    Join Lucy Downs, CAPS Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Expressive Arts Therapist, in an arts-based exploration of body image. Individual journals will be provided to support participants in utilizing writing and visual art techniques. There will be no expectation to share individual work with the group. The goal is to cultivate tools that participants can utilize in daily life to support further exploration. Free, but registration required. Register now.
  • CEBW Skills & Drills

    Come show off your basketball skills with different drills ranging from knockout and 3-point shooting to passing and everything in between.
  • Backpacking for Beginners

    Join the IU Outdoor Adventures community and learn all about gear, basic principles of backpacking, and more.

  • Embody Your Vision: Vision Board Party

    Embrace the beauty of your unique body, celebrate its strength, and honor the journey it carries you through every day with a creative vision board activity.

    Come and join the Adaptive Sports Club and Noon Basketball crew for some fun on the courts! We will be playing basketball and wheelchair basketball, tip off around 11:40!
