Yoga Session Information The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible while improving the functioning of the body’s various systems. Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind. Let our leaders help you  energize your attitude and relieve stress.  FOUNDATIONAL Yoga: Utilize the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work to experience common yoga poses. You will work through a variety of yoga poses through step-by-step verbal descriptions and demonstrations. All levels welcome to dive deeper into foundational poses, breath work, and mind-body connection.  Slow Flow Yoga: This Vinyasa-inspired session will find length and alignment in the body through powerful yet gentle poses. Flowing from one posture to the next, participants will begin to learn how to incorporate breath with movement to find balance and peace within each pose.  Hatha Yoga: This style of yoga uses breath, postures and sequences to align the skin, muscles and bones. The postures are designed to open the many channels of the body, especially the spine, allowing energy to flow freely. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after this session.  Yin Yoga: In this session, postures will be held for a longer duration to help the muscles and mind relax, allowing for healthy mobility of the joints. Surrender, relax and restore with yin yoga!  Restorative: Re-center your body and mind with a gentle and relaxing yoga flow. This session incorporates restorative poses that will help you de-stress, soothe and realign your physical and mental practice.  Power Vinyasa: Combining the use of  breath and movement, Power Vinyasa gradually builds heat in the body to increase stamina and strength. This session is faster paced and offers a nice challenge for beginners, athletes, and enthusiasts alike.  Inversions and Arm Balances: Flip your perspective and improve balance while working on building upper body and core strength! Building on the foundations of Power Vinyasa, this session includes deep stretches and strengthening postures to build necessary postural skills, and guides  participants on how to incorporate arm balances and inversions into yoga practice. Some prior experience with yoga is recommended, but no previous experience with arm balances or inversions is necessary.
